The pasta was absolutely delicious, and the coffee — simply wonderful. The dessert was unique and I really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff are super sweet and friendly, and the interior is beautiful. There’s a real fireplace with a live flame, and the view from the window is stunning. Bonus points for the restroom — clean, great-smelling, and thoughtfully designed. Highly recommend!

We stopped in after a day of hiking in Canmore. We were graciously seated in the outdoor patio area which was heated and very pleasant. We enjoyed eggplant fries with roasted olives and a pistachio, herb beet salad. The standout item was Elk carpaccio. So tender it melted in your mouth. We ordered marjolaine for dessert. That was a nice way to end a lovely meal.

Just arrived in Canmore and went out to dinner here. What a find! The food was excellent! My wife had the crab toast and roasted cauliflower while I had their trout and smashed cucumber salad. Both were wonderful. Our server, Mariah, was superb. Friendly, helpful and efficient. She is a true asset to the restaurant. The surroundings are gorgeous and we topped off our meal with a stroll by the river. Simply a “must check out” spot in Canmore.

Unbeatable happy hour. 50% off pizza and ALL beverages. Simply can’t be beat and the pizza was amazing. We also had elk carpaccio which was unique but very heavy on the Parmesan. The atmosphere is also very modern and enjoyable. I would recommend making a reservation as it did seem to get busy.

The perfect late lunch. Beautifully designed and decorated restaurant with views of mountains all around. Some of the best pizza and cocktails I have had. Get the hot honey and to go with the cheese pizza and the grilled carrots were so interesting and flavorful. Amy was an excellent, warm and helpful server. Highly recommend.

Wow—Bridgette Bar was a masterclass in dining. Set in a stunning new building within a thoughtfully designed development, the atmosphere is as impressive as the food. The interior strikes a beautiful balance between stylish and cozy, offering a range of dining experiences—from intimate corners to lively communal spaces. The staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming. On our first night, we stopped in just for a drink, and one of the off-duty bartenders, a local from Canmore, generously shared insider tips that ended up shaping the rest of our trip. We returned for dinner, and the experience exceeded every expectation. Each dish was perfectly executed—bold, balanced flavors with beautiful presentation, all without an ounce of pretension. It’s fine dining that feels approachable and inviting, with a touch of warmth that makes it family-friendly without compromising on quality. If you’re in the area, Bridgette Bar is a must.

Incredible food!!! Our server was a little hard to hear in the restaurant but not a big deal. One of the hostess ladies was super nice and helped call us a cab and was very friendly and informative. Definitely order the smoked trout!!! Delicious! We also had the elk carpaccio, burrata, oysters, ravioli, ricotta dumplings and some drinks. Everything was tasty!

This place was highly recommended by the locals. Especially happy hour that's between 2pm-5pm. Minors are welcome as well. Came here with my dad and son during our mini getaway from city life in Edmonton. Amy was our server and she was very attentive and knowledgeable. We had the best seats which was where all the food was being prepared. I was able to see all the appetizers being prepared and the dishes were close enough for me to take pictures of. Reservations are highly recommended but then again, if you don't mind sitting at the bar or by the kitchen, it's first come first seated. Enjoy the pictures!
